If we have a point, (x1;y1) and a slope, m, here's the formula we use to find the equation of a line: y - y1 =m( x - x1); where x1 = -2 ; y1 = 4 ; m = 5.
Then, y-4 = 5(x+2);
Finally, y-4 = 5x + 10 / +4
y = 5x + 14 ;
