The answer to this question would be diffusion.

In the lung, carbon dioxide is released and changed into oxygen by a process called diffusion. The release of the carbon dioxide happens because the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air is lower. After releasing the CO2, the hemoglobin is binding to the oxygen and then the heart pumps the blood so the oxygen can be delivered into the distant tissue.
