If you travel 1800 miles in 24 hours, what is the amount of time it would take you to travel 300 miles??

1800 mi = 24 hrs
300 mi = x hrs

Cross multiply:

1800x = 7200
x = 4

It would take 4 hours.

1800 / 24 miles / hours
