Erin drove 8 hours. grace drove for 7 1/2 hours and henry drove for 3 hours. how many minutes did erin grace and henry spend driving altogether

This can be solved with multiplication. So there are 60 minutes in an hour. What you would do is multiply 60 by how many hours they drove. All together they drove 18 1/2 hours so you'd multiply 60 by 18 1/2 hours. 60*18.5=1110
1110 minutes would be the answer
