L = W + 5

2L + 2W = 18

2 (W+5) + 2W = 18

2W + 10 + 2W = 18

4W = 18 - 10

4W = 8 ÷ 4

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
W = [tex] \frac{8}{4} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{2}{1} [/tex] = 2
L = 2 + 5 = 7
Width = 2 cm
Length = 7 cm
