Total amount of money is 33000
There are two recipients of the money, and one is getting 1000 more than the other
Let H = Hannah
Let T = Taylor
T + H = 33000
Since Taylor is getting 1000 more than Hannah, T = H + 1000
So, H + (H + 1000) = 33000
2H + 1000 = 33000
2H = 32000
H = 16000
Hannah gets 16000
Taylor gets 16000 + 1000 = 17000
