AC = 12

DF = 36        

36 ÷ 12 = 3

BC = 9

EF = 27

27 ÷ 9 = 3

Ratio similarity scale is, 1 : 3

We have AB ~ DE

AB = x

DE = 24

24 ÷ x = 3

24 ÷ 3 = x

8 = x

The value of x is 8
