difference between canonical and standard form

In Canonical form, you have to represent numbers at their digits whereas in Standard form, you have to multiply those with their mandatory power!!!

For Example, 85=  {8 , 5} in canonical form.

                          =   8*10^2+8*10^1 in standard form.
