Amount of heat absorbed = 6.64kJ

Explanation:

The change is heat, or ΔH.

We have 5.66 g, so we have to change 5.66 g into moles of CS2 using the molar mass (76.143 g/mol)

Then find the heat for that amount.

[tex](89.3 kJ / 1 mol CS2) \times (1 mol CS2 / 76.143 g CS2) \times 5.66 g CS2 = 6.64 kJ[/tex]

Amount of heat absorbed ΔH= 6.64kJ.
