why do you think so many amendments to state constitutions have been adopted​

I think that it keeps on changing because as time goes on, new people come in and something that was a taboo might not be one anymore, so the culture changes causing the people to change which causes the government to change. Like how slavery was legal and now it's not, and how segergation was legal and it isn't anymore.
