The answer is 6. 2(x+1)^2+q. 2(x^2+2x+1)+q. 2x^2+4x+1+q. So, q is 6 as the only number without x that we have is 1 so, to get 7 we need 6.

Answer: 6. 2

Explanation:

(x+1)^2+q

2(x^2+2x+1)+q

2x^2+4x+1+q.

q must be 6, because the only number that does not have x that is in the equation is 1; therefore for us to get 7 we need 6.

Hope this helped! :)
