[tex]\bf \begin{array}{ccll} \${data-answer}amp;lbs\\ \cline{1-2} 0.95&1\\ x&1.6 \end{array}\implies \cfrac{0.95}{x}=\cfrac{1}{1.6}\implies 1.52=x[/tex]

Your answer would be $1.52.

The reason why this is your answer because the fact that $0.95 is already a whole, you want want to find what 60% of it is.

60% of $0.95 is $0.57.

So when you add $0.95 (1 whole apple)  and $0.57 (60% or .60 of an apple), you would get $1.52, and that would be your answer.
