order these numbers from least to greatest

First, let's see all that's bigger than 1:

1.1,  5/3,(that's about 1.6)  2.0,

and we order them:

1.1,  5/3, 2.0,

then, bigger than 0, smaller than 1:

1/2(=0.5), ,0.4,5/8  (that's about 1.6):

ordering:


0.4, 1/2,5/8

And we're left with the one negative number, -2, that's the smallest.
Putting everything together:

-2,
0.4, 1/2,5/8 ,1.1,  5/3, 2.0,
