To determined the value of wavelength of the standing wave, we use the formula

[tex]\lambda =\frac{2L}{n}.[/tex]

Here, [tex]\lambda[/tex] is the wavelength, L is the string length and n is integer.

Given,   n = 3 and  L = 2 cm.

Substituting these values in above formula, we get

[tex]\lambda = 2 \times \frac{2}{3} = 1.33 \ cm[/tex]

Thus, the wavelength of the standing wave is 1.33 cm.
