False. The battle cry of the French revolution of "liberty, equality, fraternity" was thrilling slogan which was incongruent with the reality of French society. It would have been difficult to achieve liberty with a strong government in place, Also, the idea of fraternity was inconceivable in a nation that comprised mostly of peasants
